Dance Vision Circuit Series Finale
The annual circuit awards will be given out the first Saturday in May at the Emerald Ball Dancesport Championships in Los Angeles, CA, during the evening session. To qualify for the Top Teacher award money, Teachers must enter a minimum of 100 ProAm entries at the Emerald Ball in order to qualify for the cash award.
The top 6 teachers of the Dance Vision Circuit will win $50,000 in cash (no vouchers!). An additional $10,000 in cash, plus trophies, will be awarded to the first place winners of the ProAm categories.
Dance Vision Foundation
Donations for each Entry
Every entry at Emerald Ball 2026 helps make a difference! The Eng Family will donate $5 to the Dance Vision Foundation for each entry, up to $50,000.
Series Finale
The Emerald Ball is the Series Finale event of the California Gold Rush DanceSport Series. Accumulation of points earned from callbacks and placement at the Emerald Ball, in addition to points accumulated from all other circuit events, will determine the winners in each category.
Global Dancesport Series
Emerald Ball is a member of the Global Dancesport Series. Global year end recognition for teachers and students!
- Teachers and Students collect points at every Global Event
- Cash, vouchers and trophies awarded at the end of the year.
World Pro/Am Dancesport Series
Emerald Ball is a member of the World Pro/Am Dancesport Series event. The top 20 students at the Emerald Ball will receive $100 voucher. Accumulation of points earned from callbacks and placement at the Emerald Ball will determine the top 20 students who will each receive a $100 voucher that can be used towards Pro/Am entries at Series events outside.
Best of the Best Dancesport Challenge
The winners of these competitions will be eligible to compete at the Grand Finale competition held each year at the Ohio Star Ball. See entry form for most up-to-date details
Fordney Dancesport Series
Earn Points in Fordney Foundation’s DanceSport Series
Junior and youth dancesport competitors will accumulate points at the competitions listed below for ranking beginning at the Ohio Star Ball each November. Tabulation of scoring will begin at the Ohio Star Ball in November and end at the last event before the next Ohio Star Ball.
