Here’s all the places Wayne Eng personally recommends to any and everyone who comes to Los Angeles for the Emerald Ball!

Fonz’s Manhattan Beach Steak & Seafood
Great Steak house and you will love Manhattan Beach. A great walking, shopping and dining area. Must do if you are from the East Coast!

Manhattan Beach, CA 90266

Hiko Sushi
No reservations taken. Open Monday – Friday: 12-2pm for lunch and 6-9pm for dinner. Only 25 minutes from LAX. If you go, you better bring back something for me.

Sushi Wasabi
If you have time to get away, this place is in Tustin, about 1 hour drive from LAX. I often think about flying from Las Vegas to Irvine airport for this restaurant. They close at 9pm. I highly suggest you make a reservation.

14460 Newport Ave
Tustin, CA 92780

Kanpai Japanese Sushi Bar & Grill (Two locations, only 10 mins away)
Open 7 days a week 11:30am – 1am. A fusion of traditional Japanese cuisine with California flair. They have over 20 premium sakes from different regions all over Japan. Seafood is flown in from the Atlantic, Pacific, and even Indian oceans depending on the migration of the fish during peak harvesting periods to ensure we have the best sushi.
