Miami Rising Star Events Move to Emerald Ball

The Emerald Ball DanceSport Competition recently reported an exciting special feature taking place at their 2001 ballroom dance competition. The United States DanceSport Championships held in Miami on September 5-10, 2000 unavoidably lost a day at the hotel and were therefore unable to hold the 2001 United States Professional Rising Star Rhythm, Smooth and Latin competitions. These competitions will instead be held at the Emerald Ball at the Los Angeles Airport Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California on May 3-6, 2001.
In addition to the Rising Star Events' special appearance at the Emerald Ball, 2001 will be the first year that the Emerald Ball will host the United States Professional Classic Show Dance as well as the United States National Professional South American Show Dance. This is an exciting time for the Emerald Ball and it's sure to be a momentous occasion.
Wayne and Donna Eng, hosts of the Emerald Ball, were thrilled when professional and amateur competition ballroom athletes voted the Emerald Ball as their Favorite Competition at the North American Dance Awards in 2000 and want to thank everyone who voted for them.
